A glittering line up of local and national stars has been announced to play the Liverpool Pride Main Stage located on Dale Street on Saturday 7th August. The Main Stage is in association with 107.6 JuiceFM and Garlands.

Headlining the day is Gay Icon and Coronation Street star Adam Rickitt, who will perform his brand new single as well as an updated version of his 1999 hit ‘Breathe Again’. Adam is returning to the UK after a four year stint in hit New Zealand soap Shortland Street and has stripped off to support the CHECKUM campaign to encourage men to check for testicular cancer.

Adam is returning to music after ten years and will be performing Adam Rickitt Feat: Richard Grey - "TONIGHT" and the updated Adam Rickitt vs. Micky Modelle Feat: ROBIN S "BREATHE AGAIN 2010".

Headliner and Club Diva Rozalla, performs her club land smash ‘Everybody’s Free’ in addition to hits including ‘Are You Ready To Fly’ and ‘I Love Music’.

Happy Mondays and X-Factor star Rowetta, joined by the Liverpool based AJ Productions are performing a number of classic tunes in the way that only this soul diva can.

Liverpool girl and former Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton will open the Main Stage with her single "Whole Again" amongst others launching six hours of entertainment.

Queen of dance and pride legend Carol Jiani will be performing a medley of her Hi-NRG hits. Carol, a favourite with pride-goers said she couldn't be happier to be taking part in the first official Liverpool Pride.

The Main Stage atmosphere will be provided by 107.6 JuiceFM DJs DAVE WHELAN and IAN LONGO plus Garlands' LES CALVERT, MARKIE J and DAVE BOOTH along with compares ALAN CROSS, LADY SIAN, LAVINIA, MARTI SMITH and SILK TRAY.

The Main Stage line up also includes:

Liverpool’s Britain’s Got Talent stars, MD Productions, kick start the main stage action with their anti-bullying dance number “They don’t really know about us” and Lady Gaga dance mix.

Other local acts taking part include Tyler Menser who will sing the Michael Jackson classic ‘Man in the Mirror,’ before local songstress Chelcee Grimes (currently working with Lady GaGa and Beyoncé producers ) and Beauty (who has worked with Tinchy Stryder) perform some of their own pop tunes. The city’s own vogue supremacists House of Suarez bring a spectacular 12 minute taste of what can be expected at the ‘JUSTICE’ Vogue Ball, to be held in October.

Artistic Director, Darren Suarez said; ‘House of Suarez has performed nationally in prides across the country, it’s so great that we can finally perform at our own city’s pride festival.

Adding a touch of sparkle to the main stage is Liverpool drag artiste Doreen Kum Kwik (aka Darren Edge) who, in honour of Liverpool Pride, has set up her own Glee Club with Hope and Harmony choir and the Singing Hands choir for deaf people. Doreen will be belting out some of your all time favourite camp tunes.

Other highlighted performers include one the debut of the ‘all gay’ band, Cubstars, and singer Nikki Belle, who will be along to rock out her two club-land Number 1 hit singles, ‘Teardrops’ and ‘Sex Shooter’.

Sure to be a hit with the boys and girls, Britain's top P!nk tribute Almost P!nk will bring her fantastic and visual performance to the stage.

Queer as Talent's Craig Prendez and Jay Evans will also hit the stage with their stunning performances that caught the eye of the judges.
