Membership
Liverpool Pride is required to submit an annual report and summary of accounts to its membership annually. The Membership is also entitled to stand, and vote for members of the Board of Trustees.
Membership is FREE and open to anyone regarding of their sexuality, gender or sexual/gender identity as long as they meet one of three criteria designated in our governing rules.
- Have volunteered for Liverpool Pride during the previous 18 months.
- Are an elected or appointed member of the LGB&T Steering Group - the democratically elected body for LGBT people in Liverpool.
- You represent a registered Charity, Community Group or Not-for-Profit that supports Liverpool Pride's legal charitable object to "To promote equality and diversity, advance education and eliminate discrimination in relation to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people (LGBT) across Liverpool and Merseyside for the benefit of the public by raising awareness of issues affecting said persons."
By completing this form you consent for Liverpool Pride to contact you using the details provided to inform you of the date of our AGM, provide our annual report and contact you for further information regarding membership.
People who indicate that they are eligible and wish to be considered for membership will be sent a Charity Member Application form which must be completed and returned to the Liverpool Pride office for verification and consideration. Incomplete or incorrectly completed forms will be returned to you.
Representatives of groups should be able to provide appropriate evidence of authorisation to act on behalf of said group.
