Why the AGM matters

I'm writing this on the eve of Liverpool Pride's second Annual General Meeting (AGM) hoping to see as many of you as possible tomorrow.

Why does the AGM matter? Firstly, it's a chance for you to catch up on all our news about Pride 2012: how did we do? The amount of work that Pride managed in the year may be a surprise - arts, football, film and volunteering activities as well as the main day itself.

Then, plans for 2013 - what we have in mind and how you can be involved. The year ahead will see changes in the way the charity works and many more opportunities for your input. We need as many people as possible to step forward and offer time, energy and skills to help make our event even better and even more representative of our communities here on Merseyside.

Come along: come and hear what we have to say and add your voice. It's been an amazing year - help us celebrate and become part of the Liverpool Pride team - there's nothing like it!

See the Events Listing on our website for further details, and hope to see you there.

best wishes
