Some of us popped over to St Helens last week to visit Flex2 and Bar Bliss, two of the local gay bars to catch up and find out what you wanted for next year's pride.

I've been out in a number of different gay scenes across the country, but until last weekend St Helens has eluded me. You can never be quite sure what you'll get from a gay scene, but aside from talking to over fifty of you I have to say how impressed we were with the quality of karaoke. Liverpool's definitely got competition!

Thanks to everyone for talking to us and for having such a great time as well as Pete and Iain at Flex2 and Bar Bliss. We hope to be able to come back and see fairly often in the run up to the festival and we're aiming to visiting Southport, Chester and the Wirral to find out your views on what theme Liverpool Pride should have.
