Plans are now well advanced for a fabulous day of fun at Wavertree Lifestyles - interest in attending is coming in from Dublin, Edinburgh, Exeter and beyond.

At the main Pride Site there will also be the opportunity for some practice with Cage Football on Dale Street.

Tournament Greetings will be held at Puzzles Bar on Stanley Street, this is all teams' chance to come along and meet up with other teams and have a drink, there will also be an information desk about the tournament and a last chance for teams and individuals to enter. There will be a maximum of 20 teams for football, and the event will be advertised with posters.

From 5pm Mersey Marauders FC will sell raffle tickets, for a variety of prizes, including an Everton signed ball, tickets are 50p with £2 for a strip of 5. Money raised will go to the Michael Causer Foundation .

From 10pm a pre tournament party will be taking place at the Destination club.
