Break My Fall has caused a sensation across the LGBT film scene – it’s the screen equivalent of tough love: it takes no messing in its telling of the story of Lisa and Sally’s relationship and how the friends around them react. There are tears before bedtime but Lisa is finding her way out of the maze towards a clearer future.

I love this film and I can’t be more direct than say come and see it, and meet Director Kanchi Wichmann and star Sophie Anderson. Kanchi’s vision of London’s East End is wrought with sheer visual poetry and Sophie is heart-rending as Sally.

Just £10 buys a ticket for the film AND a glass of Barefoot Wine. Money from every ticket sold goes to Liverpool Pride 2012. We’ll be in the bar from 8and the film will begin at 8.30pm -
